Remember, it is also important to complete the FREE Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Many scholarships require that you complete the FAFSA application in order to receive an award.
You can apply online here: www.fafsa.ed.gov. Applications started being accepted January 1. To complete your FAFSA application, you will also need to obtain a PIN at www.pin.ed.gov. The process is simple and typically takes less than an hour to complete.
