One Year Later: Looking for military spouses who participated in the Learning Counts program

Knowledge is Power chalkboard

On September 22, 2014, Spouse Education and Career Opportunities (SECO) launched the Learning Counts program. This is a six week course that one can enroll in for FREE if eligible for SECO services. This course helps an individual build a “Learning Portfolio” based on volunteer service that can then be evaluated for college credits. According to their website, “military spouses earn undergraduate college credit for knowledge and expertise gained from volunteer and community service, work experience, training programs and independent study.” The program has partnered with over 100 colleges and universities nationwide.

If you or know you someone has participated in the program, I would love to hear about your experience. I would like to write an in-depth article and your first-hand knowledge would be extremely valuable. Please send me an email at carroll.msan@gmail.com
