Christmas is around the corner, and hopefully all the shopping is done and presents are wrapped and under the tree. Or maybe you’re going through some hard times and you were not able to buy as many presents as you would have liked, especially for your children. And now you’re afraid your children will be disappointed! But when finances are tight,it is important to discuss your situation and make adjustments as a family. Young children won’t fully understand, but there are ways to make them aware of the financial difficulties without scaring them. This article offers some advice on how to open a conversation with your child.
